C can be derived from GMO corn. This was a factor I had to know. Most
companies use ascorbic acid because it is the most studied and most
common form used in supplements. So when I inquired from many companies
they either told me they didn’t know or they said yes it was derived
from corn but was not sure if it was GMO. Some vitamin companies even
said ‘we will get back with you’ but never did. Youngevity however did

added pre/probiotics. Recently it also became NSF certified, the
strictest certification for vitamin supplements. The ORAC (Oxygen
Radical Absorption ) which combats free radicals in the body was raised

only essential nutrients missing are the Essential Fatty acids Omega
3,6-9 which would oxidize if they were included in this formula. So if

nutrients. The only problem with other companies EFA’s (Essential Fatty
Acids) is the fact that only a very few companies nitrogen flush the gel
caps before injecting the fish oil in the capsule. By nitrogen flushing
gel caps this will prevent the Fish Oil and other essential oils from
oxidizing. Nordic Naturals and Youngevity are the only 2 companies I
know for sure that use nitrogen flushing. I have emailed countless
companies that are well known that have said they do not use this
system. I am sure there are others but I just don’t know who they are.
Fish Oil and essential fatty acids from flax seed are very unstable and
will oxidize quickly when exposed to oxygen. Be aware that even though
Omega 3,6-9 are essential they can be dangerous when rancid and
oxidized.
